West Palm Beach, March 20, 2016 – Carrie Morgridge, author and philanthropist, will speak at Impact the Palm Beaches 2016 Membership Kick-off Reception on April 18, 2016 5-7pm at the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
Morgridge is the keynote speaker for the evening. She is the chief disruptor of the Morgridge Family Foundation, founder of the Student Support Foundation and author of Every Gift Matters. Morgridge will talk about the women getting a seat at the table, the power of compounded giving and its impact on the community.
Impact the Palm Beaches is a dynamic leader of women’s philanthropy: bringing new resources to the community and making philanthropy accessible. Through strategic high-impact grant making, we engage, develop and inspire women to create change in our community.
Annually, each Impact member contributes $1,000 to a pooled fund. During the annual meeting, nonprofit finalists are invited to speak, Impact 100 members vote, and funds are immediately awarded.
