The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties received the 2016 Philanthropy in the Arts mARTies award from the Arts Council of Martin County as well as Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation for National Philanthropy Day.
The mARTies was created to shine a light on the most creative people in the Martin County community and to nurture the talent our young artists are developing. From the early days in 2003, the event has evolved into a beautiful tribute to the arts community.
The Community Foundation also received the National Philanthropy Day award for Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation from the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Palm Beach County.
Other honorees include: Outstanding Philanthropist Award, Alex Dreyfoos, philanthropist; Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser Award, Jay Zeager, local radio DJ; Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation Award, The Gardens Mall, Palm Beach Gardens; Outstanding Fundraising Professional Award, Diane Berger, Senior Development Director of the Kravis Center of the Performing Arts.
