Strategic Plan Inspires New Look for the Community Foundation
To mark the New Year, the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties is introducing a new look that reflects the themes and aspirations outlined in its 2022-2027 Leading for Good Strategic Plan.
The Foundation’s Marketing and Community Engagement Committee, chaired by board member Tim Burke, took on the brand refresh project in tandem with the foundation’s staff early last year. More than 60 volunteers, donors, nonprofit partners, and community members gave input into the process, which resulted in a new tagline, “Giving for Good,” and the new look:
“Thanks to the aspirations outlined in the strategic plan, as well as thoughtful feedback from so many stakeholders, I believe we created something that expresses our role as leaders, connectors, and transformers for Palm Beach and Martin Counties,” said Burke. “Like everything we do, the end results reflect a real community partnership.”
The new branding incorporates colors and shapes from the foundation’s previous logos and was designed by Lucy Fritzinger, a Palm Beach Atlantic University senior and design intern with the Foundation’s Marketing and Community Engagement team. The icon is shaped like an abstract palm leaf and wave, with its five colors representing the Community Foundation’s five values: collaboration, equity, exceptional service, integrity and impact.
In tandem with the new look, the Community Foundation has revised its website to showcase stories of impact and improve navigation for donors, grant- and scholarship-seekers, and community members. The Achieve Agency, based in West Palm Beach, designed and built the new site.
“We are proud that this refresh, and all of its components, are completely homegrown,” said Julie Lauderbaugh, vice president for Marketing and Community Engagement. “Our creative goal was to mirror the vibrance and growth of the communities we serve and inspire those who live locally to give locally — for good.”
