About the Fund

Autism Project of Palm Beach County, Inc. Endowment Fund (est. 2019)

Autism Project Logo of green palm treesThe Autism Project of Palm Beach County was formed in 1996 by a small group of parents to help address the needs of local individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. The APPBC has a strong history of addressing the needs of children and adults with autism in Palm Beach County. We founded The Learning Academy at The Els Center of Excellence (TLA) and raise funds for both TLA and The Learning Center at The Els Center of Excellence (TLC), two charter schools serving over 250 children and young adults with ASD.

Babe's House Project

Our newest project is “Babe’s House “, a supported living facility (group home) that will serve adult males with ASD. The home will be located at 18450 Limestone Creek Road in Jupiter and will be provide purpose-built housing and 24 hour, 7 days a week support and services. “Babe’s House ” will also serve as a model for best practices in providing housing for individuals with ASD.
